Dr. Leanne Self earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego. Her career spans many diverse clinical and forensic settings. Dr. Self currently conducts many different types of evaluations including child custody evaluations. Dr. Self navigates high-conflict family dynamics to determine the best interests of the child. She combines document review, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations to deliver objective, evidence-based recommendations for legal custody and parenting schedules.

In addition to her forensic practice, Dr. Self is a trauma specialist, utilizing modalities like EMDR, CBT and mindfulness based strategies to treat severe anxiety, PTSD and distressed caused by physical pain.
